Our Observer Team

WAM has approximately 20 observers. All are volunteers, giving their time and expertise to help coach and train riders who want to improve their skills.

Observers have all passed the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider Test themselves and then gone on to undertake a rigourous training programme to qualify as an Observer holding qualification in advanced motorcycle assessment with the Institute of Motor Industries (IMI).

In a recent email of thanks to the Observers from an Associate who had just completed their training and test    "A quick note to say a massive thank you for everyone's help and support in achieving a pass yesterday. I've absolutely loved the course and have learnt so much - whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks couldn't be more wrong!"
